Ninja Polish Halloween Collection - Swatches and Review!

Boo everyone! I have more Halloween polishes to show you tonight!

This time it is the complete Halloween Collection from Ninja Polish! This is a great collection and 3 out of the 4 glow in the dark! The glow in the dark effect is very strong on all three of these. Corny Candy has the strongest glow effect but they are all very strong and it lasts quite a while, not just for a couple of minutes (or less) as with most GITD polishes. So sit back and relax and let's drool over some polish.

------------------------------------------------

First up is Geeks. This is the only one from the collection that does not glow in the dark, but is one of my top two from this collection. First up, a little about this polish from the creator -
"Geeks is part of the 2012 Ninja Polish Halloween collection. It is comprised of ultra fine micro green glitters along with various holographic green glitters in hexes, squares and bars with a smattering of black glitters to give it that zombie grunge. For those of you who are fans of the hit AMC how The Walking Dead, you might remember in the first season that for several episodes the cast was in the habit of calling the zombies 'Geeks'....this polish is named in honor of Walking Dead fans everywhere! It looks fantastic over many different base colors!"

I had absolutely no issue with application. The glitter is well suspended and there is enough that you don't have to dig to get a nice variety of glitters on each nail. I did NO DIGGING for glitters. I used one coat of Geeks on my index and middle fingers and two coats of Geeks on my ring finger and pinky. The green base is China Glaze Westide Warrior and the purple base is Nails Inc. Westminster. I topped it off with one coat of Poshe.

Next up is Spooky Floam! A little bit about Spooky Floam from the creator -

"Spooky Floam is part of the 2012 Ninja Polish Halloween collection. It is made up of a bright Orange and Black matte fine glitters in Glow in the Dark pigment! It can be used as a layering polish but can also cover completely in 2-3 coats. Do not miss out on this one!"

This one is so fun! I used 3 coats over white on all nails except for my ring finger where I used 2 coats over a light grey creme (Darling Lovey Dovey). I had no issues with application, everything went on smoothly. I topped it with Poshe and then later added a matte top coat as well!

Now let's have some Corny Candy! Corny Candy, as described by the creator -

"Corny Candy is part of the 2012 Ninja Polish Halloween collection. It has a flourescent yellow jelly base that glows in the dark AND in BlackLight! It is accented by fine yellow and orange glitters accented with medium white squares."

This one applied very nicely, as with all of the others, but I did have to do a little digging for the white glitters. However, I did apply these RIGHT AFTER receiving them in the mail so that may have had something to do with that. I used two coats over a white creme and topped it with one coat of Poshe.

Lastly, we have my favorite from the collection - Howling Blue Moon. A word from the creator -

"Howling Blue Moon is part of the 2012 Ninja Polish Halloween collection. It has a metallic blue jelly base that glows Blue/White in the dark. It is accented with ultra fine holographic glitters that represent the stars in the blue night sky. For the added howling touch, there are a crescent moons to accent each nail as desired! This polish will charge the glow-in-the-dark pigment from just walking around in normal daylight or office light throughout the day and it will glow bright for HOURS! Just moving it into the shade will set off a blue glow and cause the blue color in your nails to pop with an awesome glow!"

I love, love, love this polish. It went on very easily and is completely opaque in 2 coats.  I did have to do a little digging for the moons but, again, I had just taken these out of the shipping package so that may have had something to do with it. I noticed after I gave it a good shake the moons started to come out much more easily. The holographic shimmer pops much more in person than my photos show. I can't tell you how much I love this one.

  2. I love your pictures so much! I have the same fishing issues with those two! A few good shakes here and there loosens them up!
