Ninja Polish - Strawberries 'n Roses ♥

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful evening and a great Easter if you celebrate!

Tonight I have a gorgeous, super sparkly Ninja Polish to show you - Strawberries 'n Roses. Strawberries 'n Roses is part of Ninja Polish's Bling! Collection and it is my favorite from that collection (so far).  This one is described as follows - "This polish contains fine rose colored pink glitters as well as highlights of holographic gold. The hint of gold in this pink polish gives an amazingly unique look. The glitters are in a clear base and cover fully in approximately 3 coats. This polish looks great in regular lighting and explodes in holographic goodness in the sun."  That description is perfect and the formula was amazing. No issues at all. You will notice my nails are longer in the first set of photos - they were taken before the other pics. I have several different combinations to show you so let's get started! (One coat of Poshe in all the photos.)

----------------------------

First up is one coat of Strawberries 'n  Roses over a medium pink creme on the index and middle fingers and over Pure Ice En Vogue on my ring finger and pinkie.

Liquidus Nail Gloss - Amethyst ♥

Howdy everyone! It's Friday and a beautiful morning here so I am in a pretty good mood - despite being sleepy.

I have another Liquidus Nail Gloss to show you this morning - Amethyst. Amethyst is described by the maker as follows - "Inspired by the vibrant purple hues of the mineral, Amethyst. This polish is a soft purple with a tinge of pink and golden shimmer. A perfect spring shade."  That description is spot on and this is a very pretty color. I used 3 coats for opacity and no topcoat for the photos.

Maya Cosmetics - Ruckus ♥

Tonight I have another Maya Cosmetics polish to show you! This time it is Ruckus, a glitter topper in a clear base.

Ruckus is packed full of cobalt blue, fuchsia, sea green, and silver holo glitters in various shapes. They spread very well and I only needed one coat (over a white base) for the photos below. I did experience a slight curling with the large blue hexes (though it is not noticeable in the photos) but nothing major. They were perfectly smooth after I added topcoat.

Bright and Fun Spring Mani with Sponging and Stamping! ♥

Happy Thursday! Only one more day until the weekend! I have a super bright and fun mani to show you today!

I was in the mood for neons last night - and this is pretty much completely opposite from what I had in mind originally. LOL But I really like it! I used a white creme base (Milani White on the Spot - will list all colors in this mani at the end of the post) and then I put drops of colors on a stamping plate. Once I had all of the colors on the stamping plate (a large enough area to cover a nail) I pressed a makeup sponge on top and then placed that directly on my nail. I did this process twice on each nail to achieve this look. After that was dry I added the stamping using plates from the first Bundle Monster set and topped it off with one coat of Poshe.

After finishing this mani it reminded me of some that I have seen over at The Crumpet. Debbie calls them "Splodgeramas" - while I did mine differently, the outcome is very similar. You can see her tutorial here

And here is a look at the base before I added the stamping...

Spring Mani - Pre-Stamping

What do you think of this mani? I wish the stamping was better but I really like it anyway!

The colors I used for the base of this mani are:
China Glaze I'm With the Lifeguard

China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise
Sinful Colors Dream On
Urban Outfitters Bandeau

And the stamping was done with Color Club Wild at Heart and Milani White on the Spot.

Dior - Riviera (Revisited) ♥

Happy Tuesday! I have a polish to show you today that I have shown you before but had a heck of a time capturing the first time. Over the past 9 months or so this has turned into one of my favorite polishes and I wore it on my toes over and over again last summer. Since it's been hot here lately I have been craving corals and oranges and decided to put on my favorite coral.

The formula is superb, I used 2 coats to achieve opaqueness. I haven't met a Dior yet that didn't have an amazing formula. No topcoat in the photos. These photos are how this polish looks the majority of the time but it can look more orange or even red, depending on the lighting. (Excuse the super short nubs, I had a terrible tear last week and they are just starting to recover.)

And the semi-blurry photo that I shared on Instagram last night since it shows the juiciness so well.

What do you think of this one? It is so super yummy and juicy and perfect for the upcoming months!

Dior polishes are available at any store with a Dior Counter, as well as many online e-tailers. Riviera is still available at Dior.com and Sephora.com and retails for $24.

Glitter Gal - Grape and Lemon Fizz ♥

I was going through some of my photos yesterday and found these that I could have sworn I already showed you guys but checked and realized I hadn't! These are the last 2 polishes in Glitter Gal's Popping Candy Collection - Grape and Lemon Fizz.

If you missed my previous posts on the other two polishes in this collection, you can see Watermelon here and Blueberry Soda here.

First up is Grape. Grape is a very light, very sheer purple. The shimmer in this is very pretty but I wouldn't attempt to wear it alone. I used 2 coats over Nail Junkie Violet on all nails except my pinky where I put 3 coats over a plain white creme. I love the shift from lavender to green in this one! My camera did have a hard time capturing the green shift though. No topcoat in the photos.

And now for Lemon Fizz. You all know by now that I am not typically a fan of yellow polish, however I like this one! It is a very pretty shade and the color shift to green, and even lavender sometimes, really makes it special. It is so bright and fun, perfect for spring and summer! I used 2 coats of Lemon Fizz over a plain white creme in the photos below, no topcoat.

Liquidus Nail Gloss - Stichtite ♥

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you are having a fabulous weekend so far! I have a new-to-me indie brand to show you today - Liquidus Nails Gloss.

Liquidus creator, Danielle, loves geology and all of the polishes she creates are inspired by rocks, gems and minerals. They are 3-Free and all polishes ship in ecofriendly packaging that can be composted and is 100% biodegradable. You can tell a lot of love and thought goes into this brand!

Stichtite is from the new Spring Collection and is described as "Inspired by lime greens and purple flecks found in the mineral, Stichtite. This polish is lime green spring-like jelly with purple and white glitters."

That is a perfect description and this is a gorgeous polish. It's like a jelly sandwich in a bottle! If you have been reading my blog long you know that my two favorite colors are green and purple - and it is my favorite color combo! I had no issues with application - everything spread smoothly and laid flat on the nail. I did use 4 coats in the photos but that is to be expected of a jelly. I topped it off with one coat of Poshe and it was perfectly smooth to the touch.

(Any bubbles in the photos are from the topcoat, not the polish.)

Above the Curve - Caty Perry-winkle ♥

Hello again! I am back to show you a lovely polish from Above the Curve!

Before I talk about this amazing polish, I want to tell you a little bit about Above the Curve. Shawn and Angel, the lovely couple behind Above the Curve, created this brand as "3-Free Polish for a Cause." Here is their mission statement:

Caty Perry-winkle is a true periwinkle shade with soft holographic properties. I love this! It is so delicate and perfect for Spring! The formula on this one is amazing - this is 2 easy coats with no top coat.  I have taken photos inside and outside but this polish is so much prettier in person than I was able to capture in my photos.
