Ninja Polish Glamorous - Swatches and Review ♥

'Press Sample

Happy Hump Day! I have the perfect polish to brighten up the middle of the work week! Ninja Polish Glamorous is a perfect blue/purple (blurple) linear holographic polish and the first in a new collection from Ninja Polish called the Spectrum Collection. Oh, and it also happens to be a dupe of the long-discontinued and  very hard to find OPI Glamour. ;)

Ninja Polish - Four New Additions to The Enigma Collection! ♥

It's Friday and I have four stunning new polishes to show you - it doesn't get much better than that! All four of these are amazing color-shifters and fit in perfectly with the existing Enigmas (Divinity, Ambrosia and Shillelagh).

The complete Enigma Collection (the 3 current and these 4 new ones) will be stocked Saturday, April 27th at NinjaPolish.com! I do not know the time of the re-stock yet - make sure to follow Ninja Polish on Facebook to stay up-to-date!

One of my favorite things about The Enigma Collection (besides the fact that they're gorgeous, of course) is that they are multi-chrome color-shifters that require NO undies! They are completely opaque on their own and the formula and application are superb. I used 2 coats on all of these except Tweety - I used 3 thin coats on that one. It's my practice with yellow polishes to always start out thin but this one didn't give me any problems so I probably could have gotten away with 2 normal coats. I topped them off with one coat of Poshe (unless otherwise indicated in the photo caption).

-------------------------------

Pacific Coral -  "Just below the surface of the Pacific you can find an array of corals to spark the imagination. This polish captures several amazing shades of corals, oranges and pinks while encorporating a color shifting shimmer that bounces across your nails as the sun shimmers across the ocean."

I apologize for the awkward angle and blurriness of this photo - it was the only one I was able to capture this amazing green shift (which is seen quite often in person) in.

--------------------------------

Tweety - how cute is that name?! Described by the maker as follows: "I tought I taw some gween shimmer in dat!!! ... I did I DID see gween shimmer!! " Tweety is the ideal yellow containing a color shifting shimmer that adds just the right sass and attitude that lives up to its namesake.

My camera had the hardest time with this one for some reason but I love it! The shimmer shifts from an orange/pink to gold to green! If you've been following me very long you know I'm not a huge fan of yellow but I make an exception for this one. I actually wore it as my full mani today! The first photo is truest to the color (but does not show off the amazing shimmer).

As though the northern lights were lured in and seized by the ice, the soft array of magical colors that are captured in this polish are spectacular. Mystic Glacier gives you an array of color shifting multichromatic colors with a soft, ice blue base."

Ninja Polish - Strawberries 'n Roses ♥

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful evening and a great Easter if you celebrate!

Tonight I have a gorgeous, super sparkly Ninja Polish to show you - Strawberries 'n Roses. Strawberries 'n Roses is part of Ninja Polish's Bling! Collection and it is my favorite from that collection (so far).  This one is described as follows - "This polish contains fine rose colored pink glitters as well as highlights of holographic gold. The hint of gold in this pink polish gives an amazingly unique look. The glitters are in a clear base and cover fully in approximately 3 coats. This polish looks great in regular lighting and explodes in holographic goodness in the sun."  That description is perfect and the formula was amazing. No issues at all. You will notice my nails are longer in the first set of photos - they were taken before the other pics. I have several different combinations to show you so let's get started! (One coat of Poshe in all the photos.)

----------------------------

First up is one coat of Strawberries 'n  Roses over a medium pink creme on the index and middle fingers and over Pure Ice En Vogue on my ring finger and pinkie.

What do you think of this one? I love it - and I love how versatile it is! I realized as I was posting this that I forgot to show it on its own. You can see it alone, as well as other great combos, at Pointless Café, here

Ninja Polish: Shillelagh ♥

Happy Friday everyone! I have a super exciting post to kick off your weekend! If you saw my last post on Ninja Polish Shamrock Floam (click here if you missed it) you know that I have another St. Patrick's Day polish from Ninja Polish to show you! Enter the lovely Shillelagh!

Ninja Polish Shillelagh is a gorgeous green shimmer and is described by the maker as follows:

shil·le·lagh (sh-ll, -l) Noun - An irish word for a cudgel made of blackthorn, oak, or other hardwoods. Usually slightly smaller than a walking stick or cane. Good for quick repetitious beating of individuals. Also used by some witty irish males to refer to their ..er...um....well you can figure it out! Also known to be used by Leprechauns to call their rainbows!

Ninja Polish Shillelagh from the Enigma collection is a magically delicious polish that reaches through the rainbow for the most perfect shades of green with the most magical sparkle. Shillelagh is unlike most color shifting polishes because it requires no base color, or 'underwear', and is opaque in 2-3 coats, all on its own. It contains all the color shifting shimmer and sparkle that you can handle on your nails! This polish needs to be seen in person to be appreciated fully.  This polish is being released in conjunction with not only St Patrick's day (fun fun) but also with the theatrical release of Oz, the Great and Powerful...so exciting! So get your bottle of Shillelagh...it's magically delicious!

That description is perfect and this polish is so fun and beautiful! The way the green shifts from light green to dark, almost emerald green and the gold, and even sometimes bronze, shimmer dances in the light has me imagining leprechauns dancing over my fingers! I used 3 thin coats (but probably could have stopped at two) and no topcoat for the photos. All photos taken inside unless otherwise noted.
This polish, along with Shamrock Floam, will launch on Saturday, March 9, 2013.
