The Digit-al Dozen Does Whimsy: Faerieland
Happy Friday! I have fallen a day behind with this week's Digit-al Dozen challenge due to a bad headache yesterday, but I am planning to post my last mani over the weekend! In the meantime, it's my turn to take on faeries! A lot of faeries have been done by my fellow Digital Dozen members this week, and I have loved all of them! I have been wanting to bust out my neons for awhile now and I figured this would be a great time to do it! My mani reminds me of a fun and bright faerieland!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Geometric: Day 4 - Neon Leopard on a Geometric Base
Happy Saturday, everyone! I am finishing up this weekend with Digit-al Dozen Geometric Week, I will have Day 5 for you tomorrow. Today's post is also a tribute to my friend Kelly from Set in Lacquer.
If you missed her post last week, she has decided she will no longer be blogging. You can read her post here if you missed it. I understand and support her reasons, but she and her nails will definitely be missed in the blogging community! To let Kelly know she will be missed some friends and I thought it would be nice to do tribute manis and tag them on social media with #WeWillMissYouSetInLacquer - please join in using the hashtag if you like! You can do nail art inspired by her or even a picture of a polish you purchased because of her swatch if you are not nail art inclined. I had several different nail art manis by her I was trying to decide between, but ultimately, neon won. ;)

The Digit-al Dozen Does Childhood - Day 3: Lisa Frank
Happy Hump Day! Is it really only the middle of the week? It feels like it should be the weekend already! This week has been killer, but at least I loved what I had on my nails today! As a child of the 80s and early 90s (I was born in the early 80s), I definitely had some Lisa Frank items in my backpack! I've been craving neons so I figured this was the perfect chance to use them!

NOTD: Pink, Yellow and Holo All Over with Elevation Polish and KBShimmer!
Nothing to Disclose
Happy Thursday! This week hasn't been a great one but I'm looking forward to heading to Vegas for Cosmoprof this weekend! I'm going to get to meet some amazing friends who I have talked to from a distance for years and get all the latest scoop on nail polish and cosmetics. What could be better than that?!
Today some of my friends and I are showing off yellow manis in support of a friend who is going through a rough time right now. She actually loathes yellow but knows we are doing this out of love. She's not the mushy type and I think this is the best thing we could have done for her today. For my mani I combined yellow with pink (her favorite color) and holo!

The yellow is Elevation Polish Mount Ventoux (my favorite yellow!), the pink is KBShimmer Don't Pink Twice and I topped all nails with Elevation Aguja St. Exupery. This mani is so much brighter and holo in person! I love it!
Thanks for reading and happy polishing! ♥

Darling Diva Polish The Hot Chik - Swatches and Review ♥
Press Sample
Happy Thursday! I have a super fun and bright glitter to show you today! Darling Diva Polish The Hot Chik is a neon pink explosion!
The Hot Chik is a mix of neon pink glitters in various shapes and sizes and iridescent glitters in a slightly tinted base. I tried this over 7 or 8 different colors on a piece of paper and it looked amazing over all of them! I had a really hard time narrowing it down for the post.

Paint Box Polish In the Groove and Two Right Feet from The Summer Heat Collection ♥
Press Sample
Good morning! How about kicking off a new week with swatches from a brand new collection? Paint Box Polish is launching a brand new collection called Summer Heat on Wednesday, June 26th and I have two of them to show you now!
I also have a coupon code for my readers so stay tuned until the end for that!
The Summer Heat Collection is inspired by the bright neon colors that Pam, the creator of Paint Box Polish, sees in her Zumba classes. I love neons and these are all great!
These polishes are made up of black circle glitters, black square glitters and iridescent micro-flakes in a colored jelly/crelly base. I was so surprised by the iridescent micro-flakes! I love the micro-flakes! The formula on both of these polishes was fantastic! I didn't have an issue getting the large circle glitters out and onto my nail at all. Any bubbles in the photos are from my topcoat, not the polish.

The Nail Junkie Neon Shimmer Jelly Gradient ♥
Personal Collection
Happy Thursday! We are creeping closer and closer to the weekend. Has this week seemed to be in slow motion to anyone else or is it just me? I needed something to perk up my mood and this mani did the trick!
If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you probably saw my amazing nail mail last night. I can't tell you how much I have wanted the rest of the Nail Junkie Neon Shimmers (I already had Green Apple and it can be seen here) and when I finally got them I couldn't wait to put them on!

The Nail Junkie Nail Mail |
I will have proper swatches of these for you guys soon but I couldn't wait to try some fun summer nail art when I got them! (If you would like to see full swatches you can visit Pointless Cafe.)
And before we get to the photos I have to say that Cutie Drops, a brand new product from The Nail Junkie, is AMAZING! I used it when my polish was still very wet (right after applying top coat) and touched my nail (carefully but not overly cautious) and it didn't smudge at all. Plus it conditioned my cuticles! It was extremely east to use as the dropper is easy to control. I will be buying this again!

Bright and Fun Spring Mani with Sponging and Stamping! ♥
Happy Thursday! Only one more day until the weekend! I have a super bright and fun mani to show you today!
I was in the mood for neons last night - and this is pretty much completely opposite from what I had in mind originally. LOL But I really like it! I used a white creme base (Milani White on the Spot - will list all colors in this mani at the end of the post) and then I put drops of colors on a stamping plate. Once I had all of the colors on the stamping plate (a large enough area to cover a nail) I pressed a makeup sponge on top and then placed that directly on my nail. I did this process twice on each nail to achieve this look. After that was dry I added the stamping using plates from the first Bundle Monster set and topped it off with one coat of Poshe.
After finishing this mani it reminded me of some that I have seen over at The Crumpet. Debbie calls them "Splodgeramas" - while I did mine differently, the outcome is very similar. You can see her tutorial here.

Spring Mani - Pre-Stamping |
What do you think of this mani? I wish the stamping was better but I really like it anyway!
The colors I used for the base of this mani are:
China Glaze I'm With the Lifeguard
China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise
Sinful Colors Dream On
Urban Outfitters Bandeau
And the stamping was done with Color Club Wild at Heart and Milani White on the Spot.
Thanks for reading and happy polishing! ♥

Nail-Venturous Floam Gradient!
I am sure you all know about Nail-Venturous Floam. I am sure most of you own it by now. I am WAY LATE to the Floam game. And I am happy to say it was MOST DEFINITELY worth the wait!!
I decided I wanted to do a gradient with Floam instead of covering the entire nail (for this time anyway) and was planning on using Floam over Sinful Colors Innocent. Then I FINALLY found Sinful Colors 24/7 after looking for it all last week. 24/7 is a dupe (confirmed by a friend who has both colors) of Sinful Colors Fusion Neon (which can be seen here from Pointless Cafe) and I was searching and searching (and had friends across the country searching) for either color all last week during the 99¢ sale. No luck. I had to run into Walgreens on Sunday (the day after the sale was over) for something and guess what was magically there? Yep - one lone 24/7. Go figure. LOL
After finally getting 24/7 I thought that it might make an amazing base for Floam. I was right, I absolutely love it over the neon pink! The formula on all 3 polishes - Floam, SC 24/7 and SC Innocent - were all very nice. I had no issues whatsoever. 24/7 actually has an exceptional formula for a neon, quite smooth and only 2-3 coats.
What do you think of this mani? I think it is super fun and Summer-appropriate! My mom said it looked like I should be 5. LOL What do you think? Fun or juvenile?
Floam is available exclusively at Ninja Polish - an amazing shop with amazing customer service. I would suggest following them on Facebook to stay up-to-date!
