Sea Lore Alana - Swatches and Review

Hello everyone! Sea Lore Week continues with Alana (which just so happens to be the lovely polish you can win in the giveaway this week). And what a beauty she is!!

Alana - "A sea anemone pink jelly polish with rose colored hexes and rose shimmer." The description is spot on, although I must say in looking at this in the sun some of the glitters seem to have a duochrome quality. Talk about a happy surprise! They seem to shift from rose to a gold-ish color. LOVE! 

Application was perfect - I used two thin or one thick coat and application was great either way. I did not have to place or manipulate the glitters and I only needed one coat of Poshe to make everything smooth. I started out swatching it over dark colors and my pictures weren't turning out as great as I wanted them so I swatched it over lighter colors and liked it much better. But I did include one pic of it over the darker colors so you can judge for yourself.

All of Sea Lore polishes are hand mixed, 3-free and cruelty-free and only use stainless steel balls. All of the glitters are tested a minimum of 2 months by themselves in base to ensure that all glitters are non bleeding and non curling. Jamie says, "We are a relatively new company, but have been in the works for quite a while. I took my time designing each and every portion of the Sea Lore line, from gift wrapping each order to the labels on each bottle, I just wanted to show each and every customer how much they mean to me!
