Tonight I have a fun mani featuring KBShimmer's 6th Anniversary Collection. This collection is a trio of super fun colors and I think they all go really well together!
Post continued after the jump!
To create this mani I followed Chalkboard Nails' Sugared Stars and Strips tutorial. It was very easy to create! I think next time I will use a slightly less textured polish because it would make my star lines sharper. Overall I am happy with this look though!
I started off with 2 coats of Beach Please (I love that name!), a gorgeously squishy hot pink. I am not a pink gal but, man, this one is amazing! Definitely a must-have. I topped it with KBShimmer's Clearly on Top Quick Drying Top Coat, which is at the top of my top coat list. It is fabulously shiny, dries super fast and doesn't get thick and goopy.
Once it was dry I added my lines with Shore Thing using a striping brush. Shore Thing is a mint creme with a fabulous formula. It is opaque on its own in 2 coats, that is also what I used for the stripes. I added another coat of top coat and let that dry. I then added my stars using Hexy Bikini. Hexy Bikini is a holographic, texture glitter bomb. The formula was really easy to work with and the sparkle is crazy intense!
I believe this trio is limited edition so don't miss out on your chance to own them! You can purchase them directly from KBShimmer here.

Thanks for reading and happy polishing! ♥

This is gorgeous! I do like the polish you used for the stars, it shows your ability to control the heavier glitters!
