NOTD: Girly Bits - Sep-timber (September 2016 Color of the Month)

Happy Thursday! Today I have a gorgeous Girly Bits polish that I had the pleasure of naming! Pam has a fan group on Facebook (as most indie brands do these days) and sometimes she has a naming thread for the color of the month. If your name is chosen, you win a bottle! How cool is that?! I was lucky enough to win this one, and I am so glad!

31 Day Challenge: Day 8 - Metallic Swirls and Dots

Hello!  I hope you're all having a better Saturday than I am! I had a flare-up of a chronic eye condition I have, which always leads to a bad headache, so I spent most of the day in bed. Well, actually the recliner. But my head has eased up a little and the eye pain has decreased so I decided to try to get a quick post up so I wouldn't fall even farther behind in the 31 Day Challenge! Today's prompt is metallic so I decided to use a gorgeous Firecracker Lacquer that I got in Vegas this year and it fit the bill perfectly!

31 Day Challenge: Day 4 - Green Swirls

Hello, everyone! It's been a busy day and I just finished my nail art for today's 31 Day Challenge mani! I had a freehand design in mind but I didn't have time to do it tonight so I'll have to save it for another time! I pulled out more neons and my stamping supplies for today's look!

Drunken Honeycomb

Happy Hump Day everyone! I have some quick nail art that I did a couple of weeks ago to show you today. I really like the pattern of this stamping image, but wasn't sure what to call it. I asked my friend Jenne and she suggested "drunken honeycomb." Perfect!

Manis for Rose from Manicured and Marvelous

Welcome to a brand new week, everyone! Rose from Manicured and Marvelous has been feeling quite poorly for the last few months due to a chronic illness that she has, so Jessica from Be Happy and Buy Polish thought it would be nice for some of us to get together and recreate some of our favorite Rose manis. I thought it was a very sweet idea and was excited to join in!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Gradients +: Twisty Triangles

Hello, everyone! Happy Friday! I am so sad I wasn't able to post all 5 days this week, but I have a mani I am really happy with to close out the week! I love my gradient base and I did some fun freehand work on top - I haven't gotten to do freehand nail art in awhile and I have missed it so much!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Gradient +: Radial Gradient Plus Stamping

Hi everyone! It is Digit-al Dozen Week again and this month our theme is Gradient +. I am excited for this week because I love doing gradients and think they are perfect when combined with other techniques.  Today I decided to push myself and do a radial gradient. Ive done them before but they are hard so I am trying to practice and get better.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas: Turquoise Leopard

Happy Saturday! I managed to squeeze in my mani for this weeks 40 Great Nail Art Ideas Challenge! This week's prompt is the color/patter prompt - color is aqua or turquoise and my pattern was leopard. I bought a gorgeous leopard print background that was on clearance at Michael's a few weeks ago because I wanted to use it as nail art inspiration and this was the perfect chance!

The Digit-al Dozen Does New and Improved: Day 3 - Sharpie and Stamping

Hello! I am a day behind (well technically almost two days behind!), but better late than never, right? I am going to try to keep this post short because it is getting late and this day has kicked my butt. For this mani I tried a technique I've never tried before and used a brand new stamping plate!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas: Glitter or Flake Topper

Happy Saturday! My nephews are here today and we are going to decorate for Christmas so I am super excited! But first I wanted to get a quick post up for my nail art challenge this week. The color theme this week is "glitter or flakie topper" and my pattern was "half and half." I knew I wanted to make it Christmas-themed, but with a twist. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas: Grey + Color

Happy Friday! I have missed two weeks of the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas, which I am sad about, but I am back this week! This week's color prompt is "Grey + Color" and my pattern prompt was gradient. I decided to go with a vertical gradient instead of the more common horizontal version and I love how it turned out!

Girly Bits: Border Patrol (Latex Nail Art Barrier) - Review

Hello! I am so excited to share this review with you today! Several months back (in September/October) I started trying out the liquid latex and other similar products that were all hitting the nail world because, hello, easy clean up for nail art! However, every single one I tried I could not handle because of the smell.  But this one does not smell like the others and it works better! Keep reading to see the mani below as I created it and hear all my thoughts on this awesome product.
