31 Day Challenge: Day 20 - Water Marble

Happy Thursday! I am back with another look for the 31 Day Challenge! This one sort of feels like a "cheat" because I did an accent nail rather than all of my nails - but this took me forever! I am not talented at water marbling so I am calling this accent nail a success! LOL!

My Top 5 Favorite Indie Nail Polishes

Hello, lovelies! I know I have been saying this a lot lately, but I apologize for being so absent from my blog. I have been having a lot of migraines lately, as well as being busy with work and life. I do hope to get back to a more regular posting schedule as soon as I can. I have several new collections to show you in the next couple of weeks and hopefully some nail art posts coming up! But for today I am teaming up with 29 other members of the nail blogging community to share my five favorite indie nail polishes!

Digit-al Dozen Does Nature - Day 4: Bold Floral

Hello and happy almost-weekend! This week has been really draining (and long!) and I am so glad it's almost over.  For today's Digit-al Dozen look I did more flowers, but with a very different look from yesterday's fun and bright look.

The Digit-al Dozen Does Fairytales, Day One: Beauty and the Beast

Good evening and happy (end of) Monday! I am very excited to now be a member of the Digit-al Dozen! If you don't know what the Digit-al Dozen is, it is a small, diverse group of nail art bloggers who post on the same theme for one week each month.  The theme to kick off 2015 is fairytales! I was excited about this theme when I first heard it but it certainly has proved to be difficult in translating to nail art!

I am pleased with  this mani. I based it off one of my very favorite fairy tales, and one of my favorite movies when I was a kid. (Who am I kidding?  I still love this movie!) I took inspiration from a nail art blogger whom I have followed for a while, fellow Digit-al Dozen member Will Paint Nails for Food. She created this mani back in November and it instantly reminded me of Beauty and the Beast (even though her inspiration was something completely different) and I knew I had to try to re-create my own version one day!

Pahlish Spam! The Green Light, Dark Paradise and Continually Smoldering ♥

Press Sample

Happy Tuesday! I have some Pahlish spam for you tonight! I took these pics a long time ago and could have sworn that I posted them but I ran across them and discovered I hadn't posted them so here they are!

I am very impressed with the quality and formulas of the Pahlish polishes I have tried so far and these were no exception. The formulas were all great, especially for glitter jellies. They were all opaque in 3 thin or 2 medium coats. I used one coat of Poshe in all the photos.

Pahlish A Custom Job - Swatches and Review ♥

Press Sample

Hello! I have another Pahlish polish to show you today! This one is a very bright and cheery yellow!

Pahlish A Custom Job

Pahlish A Custom Job is described by the maker as, "Soft neon yellow cream with teal-pink duochrome glassfleck shimmer."  That's a really good description! I actually saw green and pink shimmer, though no teal to my eye.

Pahlish Inexhaustible Variety - Swatches and Review ♥

Press Sample

How about a gorgeous jelly glitter polish to add some bling to your weekend? Today I have Pahlish Inexhaustible Variety and it took my breath away with how gorgeous it is!

Pahlish Inexhaustible Variety

This one is described by the maker as "Raspberry pink jelly base with dense violet glassflecks and scattered blue and purple iridescent sparks with very sparse holographic microglitter." That's a perfect description! The  blue glitters in this absolutely glow! This polish really is so pretty and my photos do not do it justice at all. It's definitely one of those you need to see in person to appreciate.

Pahlish Valley of Ashes - Swatches and Review ♥

Press Sample

Good evening everyone! I have my very first Pahlish polish to show you tonight and I super love it!

Pahlish Valley of Ashes (artificial lighting)

The maker describes this polish as, "Medium gray creme base with teal-pink shifting glassfleck shimmer and scattered holographic microglitter."  That description is spot-on and I loved this polish so much that I stopped in the middle of a swatching session and ended up wearing it for 2 days!

*All of the bubbles seen in these photos are from my topcoat, not the polish.
