The Digit-al Dozen Does Autumn: Autumn Treats!
I am back with my final look for Digit-al Dozen Autumn Week! I am squeezing in by the skin of my teeth, but at least I made it! I asked a friend to name things she thought of when she thought of Autumn besides changing leaves and she mentioned s'mores and I ran with that idea for this look.

Indie Inlinkz: Favorite Fall Color (Plus Nail Art)
Hello and happy first day of fall! To celebrate the first day of the best season of the year several of us decided to get together and show off our favorite fall colors. The problem is I don't have just one favorite fall color! LOL! I love rich browns, vampy reds, deep purples and rusty oranges and wear all of them year long, but especially in autumn!
I received the fall CbLs that I ordered on Monday (which I had just ordered exactly one week before on pre-order, that's super fast shipping!) and immediately put on Mocha Grande and have not wanted to take it off. It is so beautiful! So, I decided I would post it today, along with some autumn nail art.

Autumn Trees for Thanksgiving
Nothing to Disclose
Happy (almost) Thanksgiving to my fellow Americans! I have a quick post for you tonight. I did this Autumn nail art about a week ago and wore it for a few days, I really loved it! I still haven't done my Thanksgiving mani, and I'm not sure what it will end up looking like, so I figured I would at least share this with you.

Autumn Theme Week Day 3 - Autumn Branches and Leaves ♥
Nothing to Disclose
I'm late getting this posted but better late than never, right? I received my Above the Curve order in the mail last night and could not wait to get Akiko on my fingers! It does not disappoint! Such a perfect color for Autumn, but also great for year 'round wear as well.
Akiko is an autumnal copper holographic polish that sometimes looks deep gold, depending on the light. It had a formula as perfect as a crisp autumn day. No issues at all. I thought it would make the perfect base for today's nail art and added some simple branches and leaved on top of it.

Autumn Theme Week Day 2 - Autumn Flowers ♥
Nothing to Disclose
Autumn Week continues with an Autumn Flowers Theme! I did a skittelette featuring and flower on 2 of my fingers. I honestly don't know if there is a flower that looks like this (since I live in the desert and we don't really have "Autumn"), my guess is no since I couldn't find any when googling. But I found several that are close enough!

Dior Nuit 1947 (970) - Swatches and Review ♥
Nothing to Disclose
Happy Friday! I have a brand new Dior to show you today! Dior Nuit 1947 is from the Rouge Dior Collection for Autumn 2013 which also includes three other nail polishes - Rouge, Trafalgar and Darling. I don't have any of the others - yet.
As much as I have always loved red, and red nail polish, this is my first true vampy red crelly and I am head-over-heels in love! I had a "nail mishap" last night and had to cut my nails very short. I was very sad about that, especially since I had just gotten this polish and couldn't wait to put it on. Well, surprise, I actually love it on my super nubs! (I still wish they weren't quite so short but luckily they have been growing pretty quickly lately.)
Review and more photos (in multiple lighting sources) after the jump!

Daphine Polish Goddess of the Two Lands Collection - Swatches and Review ♥
Press Sample
Happy Saturday! I am kicking off the weekend with a brand new collection from a relatively new indie brand, Daphine Polish. She launched her fall collection, The Goddess of the Two Lands Collection, yesterday (Friday, August 23rd) and I will be showing you all 6 polishes today!
This is a beautiful collection and perfect for autumn! (I seem to be saying that a lot lately, I am so ready for summer to be over!) Anyway, this collection is inspired by goddesses (which you probably already figured out by the collection name) and is full of very rich and shimmery colors. They all had very nice formulas. I had no issues applying these and I only needed 2 coats for full opacity on all 6. These are not "top coat hungry," but I do suggest that you use a top coat for them as the glitter in them makes them slightly bumpy. I used one coat of Poshe in all of the photos unless otherwise noted in the caption.
Make sure to read until the end to find out about a sale going on from Daphine Polish right now!

Zoya Satin Collection - Swatches and Review ♥
Press Sample
I showed you the Zoya Cashmere Collection a few days ago (if you missed that post you can find it here) and tonight I have the shimmery half of Zoya's fall collections - the Satins.
The Satin Collection consists of 5 metallic shimmer polishes and one glitter topper. The formula on all of them was great and I had absolutely no issues. I used 2 coats of all the metallic shimmers with no top coat. I only needed one coat of Maria Luisa (the glitter topper) and topped it off with one coat of Poshe. All photos taken under artificial lighting unless noted otherwise in the caption.

Maya Cosmetics Smolder - Swatches and Review
Hello lovelies!
I have another Maya Cosmetics polish to show you tonight - I am really loving this brand! Kat, the creator of Maya Cosmetics, thoroughly tests her polishes and she has wonderful customer service. I haven't had any issues with the formula on any of her polishes.
Smolder is described by Kat as, "Blackened plummy brown with pink/red/bronze shimmer." I think that is a perfect description and this polish certainly does smoulder! This polish has many moods and I tried to capture them all in my photos.
This polish is a little on the thin side and it is best to make sure to let the first coat dry before putting on the second. Kat told me this when she shipped my polish but I forgot when I was applying it so I didn't let the first coat completely dry and, as a result, did get some cuticle drag. I let that dry and added a third coat and it completely evened it out. BUT, if you let the first coat dry then this polish should only need two coats to be even and opaque. It was very smooth to the touch after I finished, no special top coat needed - I topped it with one coat of Poshe.
Isn't she gorgeous? Such a rich and sexy polish.
Maya Cosmetics polishes sell for $8 for a full size 15 ml bottle. You can purchase through her website here. Also make sure to follow via Facebook, Twitter and her blog to stay up-to-date on stock and collection information!

Enchanted Polish Hot Chocolate - Swatches and Review
Happy Thursday everyone! I have a very lovely fall-appropriate polish for you tonight!
Enchanted Polish Hot Chocolate is a gorgeous brown linear holographic polish. The holo effect is quite strong in this one, it is definitely a "need" polish. This one can be worn alone or layered - I have it both ways in the photos. I have layered it over Zoya Petra on all nails except my ring finger where I used 3 coats by itself. Formula was FAB, absolutely no issues whatsoever.
What do you think of this one? I think it is perfect for autumn!
Check out Pointless Cafe's post on this one (here) to see this one layered over a different color with a comparison to the original OPI My Private Jet!
Enchanted Polish retails for $15 for a full .5 oz bottle and can be purchased through Enchanted Polish, MeiMei's Signatures, Harlow & Company and Llarowe. Make sure to follow at the links below to stay up-to-date!

Enchanted Polish Falloween Collection - Limited Edition for Autumn 2012
Happy Tuesday everyone! I have a VERY picture heavy post for you tonight - the complete Falloween collection from Enchanted Polish. I love these polishes (and the names!!)
I am going to speak of formula here because they were all pretty much the same. I used 1-2 coats of each one. (My nails are so short and these are so densely packed that one coat covered pretty perfectly with all of them. I used two with the polishes with larger glitter pieces to "place" them - yes, I must have organized glitter.) Application was smooth on all of them, I didn't have to dig to get the glitter out of the bottle. I used one coat of Poshe to top them and it was *almost* smooth to the touch. Normally I would use Gelous but I am out (and of course I forgot to grab some when I was at Sally's a couple of days ago).
There is absolutely NO curling of the glitters, not even the large ones, and NO bleeding either. These are very complex glitters, there is no way I could pick out every single type of glitter in the polishes so I am going to let the pictures do most of the talking. Let's get to it, shall we....

---------------------------------------------------------
Beetle Juice - This one is primarily green, holo and black hex glitters with micro glitters but it also has holographic shimmer in the base. It is a stronger holo in person than it shows in the photos but not super strong. I layered this one over Zoya Caitlin on the index and ring fingers and Nails Inc. Westminster on the middle finger and pinky.

Dexter - this one has black and red matte glitter in a clear base. I did not have to place the larger glitters, they were very easy to get on the nail. I layered this one over Darling Lovey Dovey and I think it really pops over the light grey.

Igor - Another polish with a lot going on. I layered this one over Darling Lovey Dovey and a plain black creme (Milani Black Swift) on my accent nail. I really love how the colors pop over the black but there are black glitters in this polish, which show up well on the grey.

Pumpkin Gutz - this *might* be my favorite out of the collection, but it's really hard to choose just one. This is orange, green and black glitters and also has the holo shimmer. This one just screams pumpkin gutz to me! I layered this one over Nails Inc. Goodge Place on all nails except my accent nail, that's over Darling Lovey Dovey. I really love it over the green!
