Zoya Satin Collection - Swatches and Review ♥

Press Sample

I showed you the Zoya Cashmere Collection a few days ago (if you missed that post you can find it here)  and tonight I have the shimmery half of Zoya's fall collections - the Satins.

The Satin Collection consists of 5 metallic shimmer polishes and one glitter topper. The formula on all of them was great and I had absolutely no issues. I used 2 coats of all the metallic shimmers with no top coat. I only needed one coat of Maria Luisa (the glitter topper) and topped it off with one coat of Poshe. All photos taken under artificial lighting unless noted otherwise in the caption.

Post continued after the jump!

Claudine - Zoya describes this one as "a striking dark meteorite gray metallic." This one has so much depth! It is definitely grey but it has olive green undertones that really make it special.

Mason - "an exciting red violet or "Fandango Pink" metallic." Perfect description from Zoya - this one also has a lot of depth  with some added purple shimmer.

Neve - "sapphire blue metallic" - this one is a gorgeous rich blue with purple undertones and shimmer. In some lighting it actually looked more purple on me than blue! This one made my camera go crazy so I have a photo in full sunlight to help show off the shimmer.

Giovanna - Zoya describes this one as "a stunning emerald green metallic. The "IT COLOR" right now." This one isn't exactly what I would call emerald. I would call it a metallic green-leaning teal. This one was slightly more prone to brushstrokes than the others.

Channing - "a rusty or coppery red metallic." I would call this one a rusty, coppery orange - not red. This one just screams fall!

Maria Luisa - "gold cellophane accent topper" - that is the PERFECT description for this one! This is a really unique glitter and I really like it! Perfect formula and it was not a top coat eater. I am showing this one over some of the polishes in the Cashmere Collection so you can see how they pop over the cremes.

Well, there you have them! What are your thoughts and must-haves? My favorite from this collection is Claudine followed closely by Mason, Channing and Neve. Is that too many favorites? LOL!

Zoya polishes are available at zoya.com and at select Ulta locations. Zoya polishes retail for $8 (except for the PixieDust polishes, those retail for $9). Be sure and "like" Zoya's Facebook page and follow them on Twitter for latest news and promos. They have a lot of sales and specials. Zoya appreciates their customers and knows how to keep them! And don't forget they are 5-FREE and Cruelty-Free!

Thanks for reading and happy polishing! ♥
