Who's ready for some hot polishes? Darling Diva Polish has released a collection based on muscle cars! I love me some muscle cars so I was super excited for this collection! There are 12 polishes total (11 new releases and 1 previous release) so I am breaking this collection into multiple posts to give each polish its time in the spotlight.

The polishes in this collection are all dense enough to wear on their own in 2-3 coats but since there were already some fab swatches showing them on their own I thought I'd show them over black. They are super hot and gorgeous either way. I will show my favorites on their own in my last post on this collection! All had a fabulous formula and spread on the nail evenly without any issues.
These are SO SPARKLY in person and photos just do not do them justice. The holographic sparkle in each one is really stunning. I used one coat of each over a plain black creme and topped it with one coat of Seche Vite. All photos taken in natural lighting.
Since I love muscle cars I thought it would be fun to show the "cars behind the names" - in coordinating colors, of course.

Charger
This is one of my favorites out of the collection. It is rich orange holographic glitter in a slightly tinted orange base with holographic shimmer.You can definitely see the inspiration from the most famous Charger ever, General Lee. ;)

Chevelle
Chevelle is teal-y blue in a slightly tinted teal base. The mix of the blue, green and holo in this one makes for a really pretty mix. This one is slightly more green than my photos are showing.

'Cuda
This one is inspired by the Plymouth Barracuda. It's a deeper, cooler blue than Chevelle and the base is slightly more pigmented. It seems to glow from within! Blue lovers will most definitely need both!

Sting Ray
Sting Ray is another favorite of mine! The holo in this one is in-your-face and the sparkle - wow. I posted a video of this one on my Instagram a few days ago (you can see it here). This one will look good alone or over any color. Silver and holo - you can't go wrong!
(If you aren't familiar with the StingRay car, it was originally the second generation of the Corvette and is now a souped-up Corvette package expecting to make a comeback within the next year or so.)
