Black and White and Red All Over... ♥

Happy Thursday! We are creeping closer to the weekend and that makes me a happy woman!

I have some fun nail art to show you today. I had been wanting to do a red, black and white mani for a while but everything I tried didn't turn out like I wanted it to. I was playing around last night and came up with this and I love it!

I used Cult Nails Annalicious as my base - once that was dry I sponged white, very carefully, over that and let it dry. I then used striping tape and a plain black creme to create the stripes.  I used Lynnderella Connect the Dots on my accent nails. All topped off with one coat of Poshe.

I hope you enjoyed this mani! I am loving it today!

NOTD: Cult Nails Vicious with Lynderella LavenDear Gradient

Happy Saturday! I have a quick nail of the day for you tonight. I took my parents out to dinner for their anniversary tonight and did my nails to coordinate with the top I was wearing. I really love the way this mani turned out!

I used Cult Nails Vicious and did a gradient (and reverse gradient on my accent nails) with Lynnderella LavenDear. I topped it off with one coat of Gelous and one coat of Poshe.

31 Day Challenge Day 17 - Glitter with Lynnderella LavenDear

Day 17 of the challenge is finally an easy one - glitter! I had the lovely Lynnderella LavenDear in my untrieds so I thought I would use it. It is so pretty, I'm glad I did! As usual, my camera does it no justice.

I layered one coat of LavenDear over MUA #3 (a berry creme - I will have swatches of this one on its own later) and I love the combo of the two!

Nails Inc. Culross Street with Lynnderella Love Potion No. 99

Happy Thursday everyone!! I have a really pretty combo for you today! Unfortunately my camera was being a jerk and wouldn't capture this mani very well so I have a fewer number of pictures than normal.

Nails Inc. Culross Street is another amazing creme from Nails Inc. I am completely in love with every one of their cremes that I have tried. They have amazing application, completely smooth, no issues at all. This is two coats of Culross Street.

After wearing this by itself for a day I decided to add some glittah! I can't get enough of purple and green together lately so I decided to use my untried Lynnderella Love Potion No. 99! I think these look AWESOME together. SO much better in person than they do in these pics.

What do you think of this combo? I hope you enjoyed it!

Lynnderella Bride of Franken over Dior Purple Mix

I recently received Lynnderella Bride of Franken as a RAOK (random act of kindness) from the very sweet Lisa Marie at Cosmetic Sanctuary. I am so glad she did, it is so gorgeous! Thank you so much! ♥

I had been wearing Dior Purple Mix for 2 or 3 days (excuse the tip wear) and decided Bride of Franken would look awesome layered over it. I was right, this is quite a lovely combination.

Lynnderella Attitude Adjust-Mint - Swatches and Review

Lynnderella Attitude Adjust-Mint is a mint colored (obvioulsy - LOL) polish with green glitters in various shapes. This is definitely one of the more subdued Lynn polishes but it is very pretty and delicate.

The application of this was very nice but it was very sheer. I put 2 coats of AA over another mint green colored polish and I can still see my nail. I would recommend layering it over an opaque mint green, I think it would look much better.

Excuse the red hands, this one made my pale white skin look very lobster-ish. LOL

What do you think of this more laid-back Lynn? I think I would have liked it better had it not been so sheer.

My Pics of Green be Overflowin'

Happy (almost) St. Patrick's Day! (This post, as well as the title, should be read with an Irish accent in mind LOL, it makes it seem more authentic. Hehehe) I had planned to do nail art for St. Patrick's Day, and I still plan to, but I have not been feeling well today so I will hopefully get to attempt some nail art tonight. I always try to do something special for St. Paddy's Day, I am part Irish and proud!

Since I didn't feel like doing any nail art today I thought I would spam you with, what else, GREEN!!! I have 3 new Misa swatches (that were all very hard to capture for some reason, they all look much prettier in person) and then a recap of some of my favorite green posts I have done.

I have one more awesome green post that I decided to stick in my back pocket, just in case I don't feel like doing nail art. That way I know I will have at least a little something for you tomorrow. This is a VERY pic heavy post!

First up is Misa Toxic Seduction. This color is AMAZING. My pics do not do it justice. It is a deep green shimmer and has a wonderful formula. This is 2 coats, no top coat.

This is so much prettier in person!

Next we have Misa Like It Like That. Please excuse the orange fingers! It was the only way I could get my camera to capture the color of the polish. It is actually a TAD more blue than this, but not much. Again, 2 coats and no top coat.

And the last of the new swatches is Misa The Grass Is Greener on my Side. This color is deeper in person but this is the correct shade. Just picture it a little darker. Again, 2 coats and no top coat.

Now for some of my past manis using some of my favorite greens.

Illamasqua Viridian

Zoya Midori

Zoya Veruschka (no top coat)

Zoya Verushcka (with top coat)

Zoya Dree

Zoya Apple

Misa Let's Go Green (I wish my nails were still this length LOL)

NerdLacquer All of Time and Space

Lynnderella She Lived In A Swamp over Zoya Veruschka (no top coat)

With top coat

All with matte top coat

Nubar Reclaim.....figured I would end it with a rainbow :-)

I probably should have linked all those but I don't have the oomph right now and you all know how to use the search feature. LOL

I hope you enjoyed all the GREEN and I hope you have a wonderful St. Paddy's Day! Remember not to drink and drive!

Sparkly Swamp Nails!!!

Can you guess by my title which polish I am using? If you guessed Lynnderella She Lived In A Swamp you are right!! I am absolutely in love with this polish and the combo with Zoya Veruschka!! This polish is so gorgeous but so swampy at the same time. I also have 3 different looks with this combo, ALL of them AMAZEBALLS!!!

I tried to create a "swamp" look on my nails. I didn't want to cover Veruschka completely but I didn't want to just do my tips either. I tried to make it look like the glitter was a swampy goo coming from all different angles onto my nails. I love this look, I hope all of you do too.

Let me tell you the one downside to this polish, it is incredibly chunky and hungry. When I put topcoat on I added 1 coat of Gelous and 1 coat of Seche Vite (my normal combo for glitters is 1 coat of Gelous and then 1 coat of any topcoat). I could still feel the glitter MAJORLY so I added ANOTHER coat of Gelous and Seche Vite. This took care of most of the problem but I did still have a few "stray" glitters popping up here and there. That is absolutely the only downside to this polish and in my opinion it is worth it.

Let's get to the pics, shall we? For the first 5 pics I left Veruschka matte and added the glitter. This is without topcoat so you can see it is not smooth but I love the sparkly, shiny glitter over the matte finish of Veruschka.

The next 5 pics are with all 4 coats of topcoat. OMG. 4 coats. LOL I have never used that much topcoat before, I guess there is a first time for everything.

For the last 5 pics I added Hard Candy's Matte-ly In Love on the top making everything matte. I was surprised I actually loved this as much as I did. It's how I left it and how I am wearing it as I type this post. :-) I am LOVING the matte glitter.

I hope you all enjoyed this post! Do my nails look like sparkly, gooey swamps to you? LOL Which version do you like the best?

Lynnderella polish is very hard to get. It is now sold exclusively by the lovely Leah Ann at Llarowe. It is currently out of stock but she is expecting more shipments throughout February. These sell out extremely quickly. I suggest signing up for email updates on her site as well as following her on Facebook and/or Twitter.
