NOTD: Cult Nails Vicious with Lynderella LavenDear Gradient

Happy Saturday! I have a quick nail of the day for you tonight. I took my parents out to dinner for their anniversary tonight and did my nails to coordinate with the top I was wearing. I really love the way this mani turned out!

I used Cult Nails Vicious and did a gradient (and reverse gradient on my accent nails) with Lynnderella LavenDear. I topped it off with one coat of Gelous and one coat of Poshe.

31 Day Challenge Day Twelve - Stripes!

Howdy everyone! Today is Day 12 of the 31 Day Challenge - stripes. I wasn't so sure about this one and I am not 100% happy with the outcome but I love the colors and how they play together.

For 3 of my nails I went with the design I saw on Chalkboard Nails for her "Yellow Day" mani. I then did random "jagged" stripes for my accent nail. All nails were done using tape. I used Zoya Kendal as my base, Zoya Mira as my middle color and Cult Nails Vicious on my tips. All were topped with one coat of Poshe.

Cult Nails Spam Post

I have posted all of these polishes before so I am not going to go into do a review of them, since I have already done that. I just thought they were so pretty that they deserved a second look. Enjoy the spam. :)

#hashtag Holo - SpectraFlair Top Coat

Have you heard about SpectraFlair? Probably. But if you haven't it is a fine powder used in auto detailing. What does this have to do with nail polish you may ask. Well, let me tell you. It makes nail polish HOLO. And not just any holo, LINEAR HOLO. When you add it to clear polish it creates a holo top coat that can be used over any polish to make it a linear holo.

I received my top coat from my friend Sheila at Pointless Cafe (you can see the nail mail post HERE) and have been experimenting and playing with it ever since. She made it extra holo and I was able to get two bottles out of the one she sent! Yippee! I finally used it for a full mani and I am in love. I want to add this to everything now, maybe even my ice cream. LOL

I had been wearing Cult Nails Vicious for a full day and decided to add the top coat to it and it makes an amazing combo! I need to apologize for the tip wear in these photos. I have been wearing Vicious for THREE days (1 without the holo and 2 with it) and I think this is pretty amazing wear for 3 days. Especially for me, I am very hard on my nails and I did a lot of cleaning today so go Cult Nails for the awesome wear test! I think they passed with flying colors!

These pics are inside. I tried and tried to get outside pics but the last 2 days have been busy and it's been one thing after another so I didn't have the chance.

*Sigh* Isn't it lovely?! If you want to experiment with SpectraFlair you can purchase it on eBay. Just be aware it is very fine and you should not use it in a room with a fan. LOL

Cult Nail Vicious - Swatches and Review

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well! Tonight I have my second polish from my Cult Nails order, Cult Nails Vicious.Vicious is a gorgeous dark, red-based purple creme. As with In A Trance the formula on Vicious was amazing, no issues whatsoever. Fully opaque in 2 coats, perfect application and shiny on its own. There is really not much else to say. If you like dark, vampy colors or purples you need this one!

This is 2 coats with no top coat and no cleanup. My pictures are showing it a little bit lighter than it looks in real life, I took these tonight and the sun had already set. The LAST picture shows the truest color.

This photo is the true color.

You can find Cult Nails at cultnails.com where they have their blog and their store. You can also follow them onFacebook and Twitter. They are going to do a second $5 sale on some colors that were running low on stock during the first round. Make sure to follow them so you don't miss out!
