31 Day Challenge: Day 25 - Inspired by Fashion

Happy Friday, everyone! I have some beautiful polishes I've been swatching to share with you soon but in the meantime I have another look for the 31 Day Challenge! Today's prompt is "inspired by fashion" and I took inspiration from a dress I saw one of the characters wear on The Young and the Restless earlier this week!

NOTD: Cult Nails Morning Glory ♥

Personal Collection

Good evening! I have spent the long weekend cleaning and organizing (so NOT fun but it feels good to have it done!) so I am exhausted and I have no nail art MANIc Monday post for you tonight. I do have a gorgeous Nail of the Day to show you though!

(As a side note, I put on an Elevation Polish on Saturday night and it has survived the last 2 days with no chips and very little tip wear! I will be sure to take a photo to show you when I post the polish I am currently wearing.)

Cult Nails Morning Glory is from the In The Garden Collection. It is a gorgeous berry/magenta/purple with a lovely wax finish. The formula on this one was amazing and I only used one coat for the photos (and it dried super fast!). I wore this for Part 1 of my cleaning weekend and also had excellent wear with it which surprised me because I used no topcoat and these types of finishes generally don't have great wear time. Stupendous job, Cult Nails!

Please excuse the doggy hair - it's impossible to avoid it completely but they're worth it!

Black and White and Red All Over... ♥

Happy Thursday! We are creeping closer to the weekend and that makes me a happy woman!

I have some fun nail art to show you today. I had been wanting to do a red, black and white mani for a while but everything I tried didn't turn out like I wanted it to. I was playing around last night and came up with this and I love it!

I used Cult Nails Annalicious as my base - once that was dry I sponged white, very carefully, over that and let it dry. I then used striping tape and a plain black creme to create the stripes.  I used Lynnderella Connect the Dots on my accent nails. All topped off with one coat of Poshe.

I hope you enjoyed this mani! I am loving it today!

NOTD: Cult Nails Annalicious ♥

I have a quick, but gorgeous, nail of the day post for you tonight! I received this lovely polish as a birthday gift back in November and have worn it several times since then. I've taken photos each time only to have them turn out mediocre. This polish is just so pretty and has so much depth that I finally accepted the fact that I would not be able to do it justice but I wanted to show it anyway.

Annalicious is a gorgeous warm red that is packed with red and gold shimmer (or maybe micro-flakes?). Whatever is in it, it's stunning! Application was perfect - 2 easy coats and no topcoat in the photos.

What do you think of this one? I love it! It is currently available at Cult Nails' website but it is LIMITED EDITION so if you want it, you better get it while you can!

Happy Spring with Cult Nails - and a nail art contest! ♥

Well Monday, we meet again. I swear Monday comes more often than any other day of the week! But I have something cheery to hopefully brighten your morning!

Cult Nails is hosting a nail art contest this week on their Facebook page and I decided to participate. I usually don't participate in contests, especially ones involving "popular vote" but I really enjoyed this nail art (and the prize!) so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Here are the polishes that I used (the only non-Cult Nails polish in this mani was my base of Maya Cosmetics Sanctuary).

L-R: Cult Nails In A Trance, Toxic Seaweed, Power Thief, Clairvoyant, Vicious, Iconic, Annalicious, Seduction

And this is what I came up with...

Here is the direct link to my entry, of you would like to vote for it.  There are so many amazing entries and I encourage you to vote for any and all that you love.

Thanks for reading and happy polishing! ♥

NOTD: Cult Nails Vicious with Lynderella LavenDear Gradient

Happy Saturday! I have a quick nail of the day for you tonight. I took my parents out to dinner for their anniversary tonight and did my nails to coordinate with the top I was wearing. I really love the way this mani turned out!

I used Cult Nails Vicious and did a gradient (and reverse gradient on my accent nails) with Lynnderella LavenDear. I topped it off with one coat of Gelous and one coat of Poshe.

31 Day Challenge Day Twelve - Stripes!

Howdy everyone! Today is Day 12 of the 31 Day Challenge - stripes. I wasn't so sure about this one and I am not 100% happy with the outcome but I love the colors and how they play together.

For 3 of my nails I went with the design I saw on Chalkboard Nails for her "Yellow Day" mani. I then did random "jagged" stripes for my accent nail. All nails were done using tape. I used Zoya Kendal as my base, Zoya Mira as my middle color and Cult Nails Vicious on my tips. All were topped with one coat of Poshe.

Cult Nails Spam Post

I have posted all of these polishes before so I am not going to go into do a review of them, since I have already done that. I just thought they were so pretty that they deserved a second look. Enjoy the spam. :)

Vicious

Clairvoyant over Vicious (Gradient with a full accent nail on ring finger)

Clairvoyant over Power Thief (and an accent thumb with Joe Fresh Moss)

Power Thief

And I saved my favorite for last... In A Trance

Aren't they amazing?! I highly recommend Cult Nails. Their polishes are amazing and they have EXCELLENT customer service. You can visit their blog and their shop here. Also, make sure to follow on Facebook and Twitter to stay up-to-date on all the latest!

Cult Nail Power Thief - Swatches and Review

Today I have the last of my new Cult Nails polishes, that must mean it's time to buy more. *grin* Actually if you saw my nail mail post earlier today you know that I have PLENTY of pretties to keep me happy for awhile.

Power Thief is a lovely taupe color with subtle shimmer that glows in the sun. As per usual, my camera did not capture the true beauty of this polish. Take what it looks like here and make it 10 times better. My polishing job is not the best in these photos, this has nothing to do with the polish. I did these late at night and I was super tired. Haha

The formula on Power Thief was just as amazing as all of the other Cult Nails polishes I have. Absolutely no issues to report whatsoever. This is 2 coats topped with 1 coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast (my new favorite top coat).

I spy a typo. I wonder if they are all this way.....

What do you think of Power Thief? It's definitely a winner in my book! Make sure to visit cultnails.com and follow them on Facebook!
