Zoya Spam! PIC HEAVY!

Hello lovely readers! I thought it might be fun to start doing spam posts of some of my favorite brands every once in a while, swatches I have already done but may have been forgotten or the polish is so pretty it deserves to be seen again. :) I decided to kick it off with one of my favorite brands, Zoya!

Zoya is Cruelty-Free, 4-free and has amazing wear. (Note: if you find Zoya is not wearing well on you, try changing your top coat. There are certain top coats, including Seche Vite, that do not play well with Zoya.) They are also a company that has a lot of promos and giveaways! Who doesn't love a good deal on awesome polish? The have also recently started their awesome Share the Love program but I will tell you about that at the bottom of this post. Let's get to the pics, shall we?

I have linked each individual blog post above the picture if you would like to see the complete post.

From their newest collection, The Beach Collection. Release for Summer 2012

One last shot of The Beach Collection (minus the two I don't have yet)

Whew, that was a lot of pics! LOL So many amazing Zoya colors and I have tons on my wishlist that I haven't been able to acquire yet. Stay tuned for those in the future! *wink*

Now for more information on their new Share the Love program! With Share the Love you earn points and with each number of points you get certain rewards (money off purchases, free polish, etc.) Right now if you don't have a Zoya account you can sign up using my link and you will automatically get a free bottle of polish added on to your very first order! You can find my link HERE If you haven't tried Zoya yet, this is an awesome way to start your collection! And if you already love Zoya then you definitely want more colors!

Make sure to follow Zoya on Facebook and Twitter as well!

My Pics of Green be Overflowin'

Happy (almost) St. Patrick's Day! (This post, as well as the title, should be read with an Irish accent in mind LOL, it makes it seem more authentic. Hehehe) I had planned to do nail art for St. Patrick's Day, and I still plan to, but I have not been feeling well today so I will hopefully get to attempt some nail art tonight. I always try to do something special for St. Paddy's Day, I am part Irish and proud!

Since I didn't feel like doing any nail art today I thought I would spam you with, what else, GREEN!!! I have 3 new Misa swatches (that were all very hard to capture for some reason, they all look much prettier in person) and then a recap of some of my favorite green posts I have done.

I have one more awesome green post that I decided to stick in my back pocket, just in case I don't feel like doing nail art. That way I know I will have at least a little something for you tomorrow. This is a VERY pic heavy post!

First up is Misa Toxic Seduction. This color is AMAZING. My pics do not do it justice. It is a deep green shimmer and has a wonderful formula. This is 2 coats, no top coat.

This is so much prettier in person!

Next we have Misa Like It Like That. Please excuse the orange fingers! It was the only way I could get my camera to capture the color of the polish. It is actually a TAD more blue than this, but not much. Again, 2 coats and no top coat.

And the last of the new swatches is Misa The Grass Is Greener on my Side. This color is deeper in person but this is the correct shade. Just picture it a little darker. Again, 2 coats and no top coat.

Now for some of my past manis using some of my favorite greens.

Illamasqua Viridian

Zoya Midori

Zoya Veruschka (no top coat)

Zoya Verushcka (with top coat)

Zoya Dree

Zoya Apple

Misa Let's Go Green (I wish my nails were still this length LOL)

NerdLacquer All of Time and Space

Lynnderella She Lived In A Swamp over Zoya Veruschka (no top coat)

With top coat

All with matte top coat

Nubar Reclaim.....figured I would end it with a rainbow :-)

I probably should have linked all those but I don't have the oomph right now and you all know how to use the search feature. LOL

I hope you enjoyed all the GREEN and I hope you have a wonderful St. Paddy's Day! Remember not to drink and drive!

Zoya Midori and Apple!

Happy hump days lovelies! Sorry for slacking lately, life has been busy!  I meant to post this yesterday, it was my nephew Alex's 13th birthday and his favorite color is green so I am dedicating two of my favorite Zoya greens to him! Zoya makes the best greens!!

Midori and Apple are both light green with a gold shimmer but they are still very different. Up first is Midori. Midori is from Zoya's Ohh-La-La Collection which was released in Summer of 2009. It is a gorgeous apple green with a gold shimmer, I absolutely love this color. This is 2 coats, no topcoat.

Next up we have Apple. Apple is a gorgeous shimmer, maybe a glass-fleck? I'm not sure. LOL It is from Zoya's Sunshine Collection from Summer of 2011. It is sheer, this is 3-4 coats (some needed 4, maybe I didn't apply those as thick LOL) but the drying time is really fast.

What do you think of these greens? Very appropriate for St. Patrick's Day!

Zoya retails for $8 and can be purchased at zoya.com

They announced on their Facebook page and Twitter this morning that they are having free shipping for Leap Day, just use code SHIPME before 11:59 PM EST tonight!
