Sweetcheeks Polish Aja and Kimber - Swatches and Review ♥

I have a new-to-me indie to show you tonight!

Sweetcheeks Polish is a hand-poured indie that is 3-Free and Cruelty Free. $1 of the proceeds from every polish sold will be donated to the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association, VOKRA.

Both of the polishes I have to show you today are from Sweetcheeks' Jem and the Hologram Collection.

First up is Aja
Aja is an Asian American foster girl who grew up with the other Holograms at Starlight House. She is the lead guitarist and backup vocals for the Holograms. Aja is almost always the driver of the Rockin' Roadster. She is a bit of a tomboy and is Jem's second in command. She loves tinkering with mechanical and electrical stuff. She is also the only one of the Holograms who has experience with the inner workings of Synergy.

I always loved the color of Aja's hair, and the polish is a blue to match that. The more coats you put on, the more vibrant blue it gets. It is matte, with a blue/green duochrome flake. If you want a change, put a topcoat over it, and get a whole new look!

I love this one! The depth is amazing and it reminds me of galaxy nails. I chose to add a top coat to this one because it really brings the depth of the polish to life. I only needed one coat (over a plain black creme) and I had no issues with the formula.

Next up is Kimber
Kimber is Jerrica's younger sister and the primary songwriter of the Holograms. Kimber is also the keyboards, synthesizers, and backup vocals. She has extreme emotions and is very sensitive, often shown by her constant tantrums. Kimber is friends with Stormer, and tends to show jealousy towards her sister when she's Jem. When Jerrica won control of Starlight Music, she gave Eric Raymond's relinquished half stake to Kimber.

Kimber is a wonderful glitter polish- she has fire red holo glitter in various sizes to match her hair, white bar glitter to match her jacket, and blue holo glitter to match her pants. There's also a smattering if iridescent shard glitter to represent her inability to choose sides.

This one is super fun and will be perfect for Independence Day this summer! What really jazzes this one up is the holographic glitter - ot absolutely glows as you move your nails in the light. Awesome formula and I only used one coat over a plain black creme topped with one coat of Poshe. (Any bubbles you see are in the top coat, not the polish itself.)

Ninja Polish - Four New Additions to The Enigma Collection! ♥

It's Friday and I have four stunning new polishes to show you - it doesn't get much better than that! All four of these are amazing color-shifters and fit in perfectly with the existing Enigmas (Divinity, Ambrosia and Shillelagh).

The complete Enigma Collection (the 3 current and these 4 new ones) will be stocked Saturday, April 27th at NinjaPolish.com! I do not know the time of the re-stock yet - make sure to follow Ninja Polish on Facebook to stay up-to-date!

One of my favorite things about The Enigma Collection (besides the fact that they're gorgeous, of course) is that they are multi-chrome color-shifters that require NO undies! They are completely opaque on their own and the formula and application are superb. I used 2 coats on all of these except Tweety - I used 3 thin coats on that one. It's my practice with yellow polishes to always start out thin but this one didn't give me any problems so I probably could have gotten away with 2 normal coats. I topped them off with one coat of Poshe (unless otherwise indicated in the photo caption).

-------------------------------

Pacific Coral -  "Just below the surface of the Pacific you can find an array of corals to spark the imagination. This polish captures several amazing shades of corals, oranges and pinks while encorporating a color shifting shimmer that bounces across your nails as the sun shimmers across the ocean."

I apologize for the awkward angle and blurriness of this photo - it was the only one I was able to capture this amazing green shift (which is seen quite often in person) in.

--------------------------------

Tweety - how cute is that name?! Described by the maker as follows: "I tought I taw some gween shimmer in dat!!! ... I did I DID see gween shimmer!! " Tweety is the ideal yellow containing a color shifting shimmer that adds just the right sass and attitude that lives up to its namesake.

My camera had the hardest time with this one for some reason but I love it! The shimmer shifts from an orange/pink to gold to green! If you've been following me very long you know I'm not a huge fan of yellow but I make an exception for this one. I actually wore it as my full mani today! The first photo is truest to the color (but does not show off the amazing shimmer).

As though the northern lights were lured in and seized by the ice, the soft array of magical colors that are captured in this polish are spectacular. Mystic Glacier gives you an array of color shifting multichromatic colors with a soft, ice blue base."

butter LONDON Tea & Toast - Swatches and Review ♥

Happy Thursday! I have a fabulous butter LONDON to show you today!

Tea & Toast is a caramel colored creme that goes on like butter. I was so impressed by the formula on this one. I almost stopped at one coat but did two. I have been wearing this for nearly 24 hours WITHOUT topcoat and I have no chips and very little tip wear. I'm seriously in love with this one.

Cover Band CaNDy Teal Twinkle ♥

We are halfway through the work week! Yay! I have something super gorgeous to end your day with some sparkle!

Cover Band is a brand that "covers" popular polishes that may be discontinued or hard to find, etc. They are not meant to be DUPES of the original polish, they are meant to pay tribute. Just as cover bands who may cover songs of classic artists, they will never be the same but they can be loved for what they are nevertheless.

CaNDy Teal Twinkle pays tribute to the much sought-after CND Teal Sparkle from their Effects line. I absolutely love this one! I layered one coat over a plain black creme and a plain aqua/teal creme (Essence Bella) and both turned out amazing! This would honestly look good over SO many colors. No top coat for the photos.

I just love this one. It adds sparkle and brilliance without being too in-your-face.

Cover Band polishes are sold exclusively through Ninja Polish. This one is currently out of stock but you can sign up to be notified when it comes back! Make sure to like Ninja Polish on Facebook for updates, swatches and restock information.

Note: Cover Band is their own brand separate from Ninja Polish, however, Ninja Polish supplies them with their bottles.

Thanks for reading and happy polishing! ♥
