Hello! I'm late with this week's challenge, but I figured it was better late than never! I would have been on time but I've been ill this weekend. This is the first freehand nail art I've done (using my nail art brushes) in nearly 2 months! I could definitely tell I was out of practice but it felt good to get back at it and I can't wait to do more! This week's theme is winter, and I wanted to do something different than snowflakes. Let's see what I came up with!

Dandy Nails Moonglow - Swatches and Review
Happy Tuesday everyone!
I have a very lovely polish for you today that I swooned over the instant I put it on. Moonlight is from Dandy Nails' Winter 2012 Collection (on a side note, I think this may be my favorite collection that Sandy has put out so far and that is saying something because I love Dandy Nails!).
I love grey and I love holo so when you put the two together you really can't go wrong in my book. This is a tightly scattered holo and it really, really pops in the sun. I took these photos inside under artificial lighting. The formula was fabulous - no issues at all to report. I used 2 coats for complete opacity.
Dandy Nails polishes are available on her Etsy page and also at Ninja Polish. Make sure to follow Dandy Nails on Facebook and Ninja Polish on Facebook to stay up to date!

Sea Lore Snowy Seal - Swatches and Review
So for tonight we are going to see one of Sea Lore's Wintry Friends Collection! Snowy Seal is described as,"silver shimmering base with gunmetal and crystal hexes as well as silver and white glitter."
I really like this glitter and I like that it's versatile because I can wear it alone or by itself. I used one coat over Orly Decoded on my index and middle fingers and 3 coats alone on my ring finger and pinky. I topped it off with one coat of Poshe btu would recommend Gelous as it is top coat hungry.

Dandy Nails Chilled Down - Swatches and Review (With a Little Christmas Nail Art!)
Happy Thursday everyone! I FINALLY have a bit of Christmas nail art for you tonight - and it just so happens to be over an amazingly gorgeous polish!
Dandy Nails Chilled Down is a milky white base with blue and gold micro-flakes. So stunning! This base color is so perfect! It reminds me of a sweater - like a perfect cashmere sweater. This milky white is great for year-round wear since it is such a soft, yummy shade and it looks great on pale skin (like mine) which isn't often the case with white. I love this one so much I have been wearing it for 3 days (with AMAZING wear - and I have been doing a lot of cleaning in that time) and I also put it on my mom who loved it as well.
Formula was wonderful - the first coat looked thin but it was *almost* opaque in 2 coats. I used thin coats so I ended up with 3 coats - if you used thicker coats you could get away with 2 without a problem. I topped it off with one coat of top coat and it was perfectly smooth.
And after wearing it for a day or two I decided to add a little Christmas bell with some sequins. These pics aren't the best because I didn't get a chance to take them outside during the day but at least you can see the cute little bell!
Dandy Nails polishes are available on her Etsy page and also at Ninja Polish. Make sure to follow Dandy Nails on Facebook and Ninja Polish on Facebook to stay up to date!

Sea Lore Beluga Blizzard - Swatches and Review
Hello everyone! Today was the first time I have actually felt a TINY bit of a chill this year so I think it's a perfect time to break out the winter polishes! This one reminds me of a snowstorm (not that I will be getting any snow here in the Arizona desert! LOL) - so gorgeous!
Beluga Blizzard is described as, "pearl white iridescent shimmering base with various shades of snow white glitter." I think that description is spot on! I attempted to capture some of the gorgeous iridescent shimmer in the base but this one really needs to be seen in person to appreciate how beautiful it is!
It could be worn on its own with an estimated 3-4 coats but I decided to layer it over a contrasting color. (You can see it layered over white with some adorable nail art at Adventures in Acetone!) I used one coat on all nails except my ring finger where I used two coats over a base of Dandy Nails Cashmere Night.
The formula was very nice, the glitter spread evenly and smoothly. No issues at all to report. I used one coat of Poshe but I would recommend using Gelous or an extra coat of top coat to make it perfectly smooth.
All of Sea Lore polishes are hand mixed, 3-free and cruelty-free and only use stainless steel balls. All of the glitters are tested a minimum of 2 months by themselves in base to ensure that all glitters are non bleeding and non curling. Jamie says, "We are a relatively new company, but have been in the works for quite a while. I took my time designing each and every portion of the Sea Lore line, from gift wrapping each order to the labels on each bottle, I just wanted to show each and every customer how much they mean to me! As a thank you to my customers, I am offering a free ring with every $20 purchase with your choice of Sea Lore color."

SoFlaJo Ice Dancer from the Party Time Collection - Swatches and Review
Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great weekend so far!
I have one of the brand new polishes from SoFlaJo's Party Time Collection for winter to share with you today!
This is what Jody, the creator of SoFlaJo, has to say about Ice Dancer:
"I love the sparkle and glitz of the costumes and the fancy footwork of Ice Dancers. When designing this holographic glitter mix of blues, silvers and browns in a blue base, I wanted a “topper” that could be worn alone with opacity in 2-3 coats or dress up favorite undies with its shimmer."
I think that sums it up perfectly! I really enjoyed wearing this polish. It's sparkly without being overbearing - it's a "classy" color. The formula was fabulous! I had no issues whatsoever. I used 1 coat over Model's Own Mushroom (a grey creme) on all fingers except my ring finger where I used 3 thin coats by itself. This is not a hungry glitter - I only needed one coat of Poshe to make it perfectly smooth.
SoFlaJo's Party Time Collection is available now! You can purchase via her website or her Etsy store. The 15 ml bottles retail for $10 and the 5 ml bottles (featured in this post) retail for $5. Make sure to follow SoFlaJo on Facebook to stay up-to-date on collections and promos!
You can see photos of the complete Party Time Collection at Pointless Cafe!
SALE ALERT: SoFlaJo will be holding a CyberMonday sale on November 26th and will have free shipping on all orders over $20 purchased via her website (the Etsy store site is NOT included in the sale!) and will include all collections. This sale applies to all domestic and international orders purchased via her website.
Thanks for reading and happy polishing! ♥
