Mint Manis In Honor of Talia Joy ♥

On Tuesday, July 16th, the beauty blogging community lost an amazingly talented nail and makeup artist and a family lost a precious 13-year old girl who had been been battling 2 forms of cancer. Talia Joy Castellano was diagnosed with cancer when she was just 6 years old and fought a hard battle for 7 years. Over half of her life was spent battling two horrible forms of cancer, neuroblastoma and preleukemia. She accomplished so much in her short life, more than many people ever accomplish. You can find her YouTube Channel here and her Instagram here.  She made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and was made an honorary Cover Girl, a dream come true for her.

This amazing young lady has been quite an inspiration to many, including myself. The last manicure she posted on Instagram (pictured below), on July 12th, was a mint colored polish and that's why Mint Manis for Talia came to be.

My Mint Mani in honor of this incredible girl (please excuse the smearing from the topcoat)...

For this mani I used Dior Samba 402 and stamped with Illamasqua Seance and BM02.

Talia may not have lived very long but she touched so many lives in her short time on this Earth. I'm sure she will continue to do so. Much love to her family and friends. ♥

If you would like to participate, please visit Nicole's blog post at Nail Polish Wars for InLinkz codes and more information. She is also asking that people share their mint manis on her Facebook page, whether you have a blog or not. Please use hashtags  #mintmanisfortaliajoy and ‎#TaliasLegacy if sharing on social media sites.
