Candeo Colors Julep, Mahi and Spring Berry - Swatches and Review ♥

Press Sample

Good afternoon! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I have 3 polishes Candeo Colors to show you today - Julep, Mahi and Spring Berry

These are very pretty and complex glitters so stay tuned after the jump!

Before we get started I have to say that any bubbles seen in the photos are from topcoat, not the polish.

Up first is Mahi. Mahi is described by the maker as, "various hexagonal glitters, gold hexagonal glitters, blue holographic glitters and iridescent glitters in a shimmery aqua base." This one is so shimmery and pretty in person. I looks great over a light base but when I tried it over cobalt blue I loved the way it popped! The formula was fantastic, no issues. I used one coat over a creme base and topped it off with one coat of topcoat.

Julep is described as, "a semi-sheer white with diamond shimmer, small and medium aqua, ocean, iridescent, and blue matte squares." This one had a bit of a touchy formula but as long as you don't mess with it too much it's not bad. I used one coat over a light blue creme and topped it off with one coat of topcoat.

And last for today is my favorite of the three, Spring Berry. This one is described as, "a mix of mica and shimmer, matte pink, small and medium silver, and a purple/pink microglitter." The shimmer in this is holographic and it looks so pretty and sparkly in the sun! This is a very pretty mix of colors and would look great over a ton of different base colors. I used one coat over a berry colored creme and one coat of topcoat. The formula as perfect andI didn't have to do any dabbing with the glitters.

  1. Im wearing Julep right now :)! I used Barielle swizzle stick as my base since I wanted it opaque.

  5. In that last macro shot, are those BUBBLES?!? They're everywhere! I wonder if they came from the top coat. Do you know one way or the other? Thanks!
