Zoya Naturel Deux Collection - Swatches and Review

Press Sample

Happy Friday! Zoya just released a brand new collection of gorgeous neutrals and I can't wait to show them to you. I love my cremes and Zoya does cremes so well!

Post continued after the jump!

The Naturel Deux Collection consists of six gorgeous cremes. Three are mauve/rose-toned and three are caramel/chocolate-toned.  I did a bit of easy nail art on the accent nail with the 3 rose-toned ones and different nail art for the brown-toned ones. The formula on all of these was the same - smooth and easy! All are showing two coats and no top coat. (I only have top coat on the nail art/accent nails.)

----------------------------------------

First up, the three rose-toned polishes, lightest to darkest. These are all lovely colors and are feminine without looking "old lady-ish" like people usually associate with this type of color. I did a fishtail design with these three on my ring finger.

Madeline is a muted rose that I think will look great on a multitude of skin tones!

Aubrey is a purple-toned mauve. Kind of a mauve with an edge. I love this one, it's one of my favorites from the collection. And I have had the song Aubrey by Bread in my head ever since I wore it. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, Google it. It's a beautiful song.)

Marnie (spelled Marney on the bottom of my bottle) is a described on Zoya's website as a "deep warm plum" but, while it does look plum in the bottle, it dries much warmer. Once it was on my nails and dry it reminds me of a deep, brown-toned mauve. Very pretty and perfect for Autumn but not what I would consider plum.

A fun little fact about me, I'm a huge Alfred Hitchcock fan. I couldn't let a polish named Marnie pass by without mentioning Marnie. If you haven't seen it, watch it! The lovely Tippi Hedren and the always gorgeous Sean Connery. I feel like Marnie definitely would have worn her namesake. ;)

Now for the browns! I did a chevron gradient on my accent nail for these using some Sticky Nails decals.

Spencer is a light caramel colored creme. This one surprised me and looked nice with my skin tone. (Usually this color doesn't like me. At. All.)

Chanelle (which looks much darker on Zoya's website) is a toasted almond that is darker and warmer than Spencer.

Emilie is like perfect chocolate on your nails! So decadent!
