Liquidus Nail Gloss Summer 2013 Collection - Swatches and Review ♥

Press Sample

The weekend is finally here! How about some new juicy, summery polishes to kick off the first official weekend of summer? (Stay tuned until the end of the post for a discount code from Liquidus!)

Descriptions of the three polishes I have for you today are as follows -

Emerald - Inspired by the rich green gemstone Emerald, this polish is a dark green jelly packed full of iridescent flecks.

Pink Agate - Inspired by the pink translucent variation of agate, this polish is a hot pink jelly perfect for a summer jelly sandwich.

Obsidian - Inspired by the glassy volcanic rock Obsidian, this polish is pure black glitter. Polish includes three shapes of shiny black glitter, diamonds, hexes and squares in a clear glossy base.

Photos and review after the jump!

Emerald - This polish is so pretty and sparkly! The iridescent flecks inside the glowing green jelly really pop and give this polish something special. This polish is pretty sheer (in true jelly fashion) but has a wonderful, easy-to-work with formula. I used 4 coats and one coat of Poshe for the phots and even with that many coats it dried pretty quickly! (Any bubbles seen in the photos are from the topcoat, not the polish.)

Pink Agate - a yummy pink perfect for any squishy jelly lover! I'm really loving jellies these days and I can't wait to so a stampwich with this polish. I am showing 3 coats in the first photo and 5 coats in the second photo. (No topcoat used.)

Obsidian - This one has a wonderful formula and I didn't even need any topcoat - and it's big glitter! I used 1-2 coats depending on the "dip" of the brush but everything spread easily and evenly and I did no dabbing or placing of the glitters. I'm showing it 3 different ways below, make sure to check the captions. No topcoat in any of the photos.
