Hello lovelies! How about some sparkle for your weekend? It doesn't get much more sparkly than Shimmer Polish - so let's have some Shimmer Spam!
I used one coat of Gelous and one coat of Poshe for all photos.
First up we have Lorene. Lorene is described as a "raspberry mix" - that's pretty spot on. The primary color is a raspberry color and there are several other shades of glitter in it as well - all in a slightlytinted rose-colored base. I layered this one over Zoya Gie Gie on all fingers except my thumb (in the last photo) where I used 2 coats alone.

Next we have Marilyn. Marilyn is a very deep, rich, vampy burgundy red that is reminiscent of Hollywood's blonde bombshell. (I am not certain that this was named after Marilyn Monroe but I think she would approve.) I have layered one coat over Misa Uptown Glamour on all fingers except for my pinky where I used 4 coats of Marilyn without undies.

Taylor is the only one of these four that I didn't layer. I really love the color of this jelly base and it was completely opaque in 3 coats (what is shown in the photos). The variation of red, blue, purple and even aqua glitters really pops in the base.

I saved my favorite for last! Tiffany is described as a pink and blue mix but there are also a few other colors to help this polish really stand out. This one is so pretty and delicate-looking. I used one coat over Misa Breakaway (a medium purple) on all nails except my pinky where I used 3 coats alone.

So what do you think of these? Shimmer Polishes are perfect if you like bling! They are very sparkly and that just can't be captured very well on camera.
Shimmer Polish retails for $12 for a full size (0.5 oz.) bottle. Shimmer Polish links:
Thanks for reading and happy polishing! ♥
