Paint Box Polish: The North Shore Collection and Mani Fizzes - Swatches and Review

Happy Friday, everyone!  Today I have a collection to show you that was released about a month ago. This is the North Shore Collection from Paint Box Polish, inspired by beautiful Hawaii! She is also selling some awesome hand care items in her shop now, including Mani Fizzes, which I have to tell you about below so keep on reading!

I also have a coupon code for 20% off your order at the end of this post!

First I want to tell you about the Mani Fizzes! These are a new item to her shop and they are really nice! At first I didn't quite "get" the whole mani fizz/soak trend but after trying this one, I get it. (If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen my short video using this mani fizz a couple of days ago.) The effect these have on your hands is so moisturizing and really soaks into your skin better than some other products do.  And they are only $1.50! I will definitely be purchasing more and using them on a regular basis. I have a before photo and an after photo below, I only wish the photo would translate how much better my hands felt afterwards. I had been neglecting my hand care during my trip to Las Vegas for CPNA and then did quite a bit of cleaning when I got home, so they were in pretty bad shape.  You can see a little bit of that in the photos below. Both pics are untouched.

Before
(The white skin surrounding my nails is due to using 100% acetone to remove a polish just before doing the Mani Fizz.)

After

As you can see, my skin and nails both look much more moisturized in the after photo. After soaking for a few minutes I massaged the oils into my hands and then patted them dry, as the instructions on the site say to do.  So much better!  I had the coconut honey scent (the pink flower in the photo below) and the scent was refreshing but not completely overpowering, which I appreciate since I am very sensitive to smells. She has a lot of different, fun scents!

Pam (owner of Paint Box Polish) also sells cuticle oil, which I love and use often, and intense butter balm, which I will be trying soon. She also has crystal nail files available as well! Now, let's get to the gorgeous polish in the North Shore Collection!

----------------------------------------------

North Shore Shrimp Shack is a coral-red crelly with color changing ultra-chrome flakes. This color is so bright and juicy, I just love it! It's so perfect for summer! I had no issues with the formula and only needed two coats for opacity. I'm showing two coats and one coat of topcoat in the photos.

Sunset Beach is a bright greenish yellow jelly with blue-green-gold color shifting ultra-chrome flakes. I know this one may not be everyone's cup of tea but I really love this one. It's unique and it's oh-so bright and juicy! This one is more of a jelly than North Shore Shrimp Shack so you need more coats for it to be opaque on its own, or you can layer it over a base if you prefer (which could obviously change the color or make it even brighter). I am showing 4 thin coats with one coat of topcoat below. I love that the sheer aspect really allows the flakes to shine. Unfortunately I don't have sunlight pics of this one as a dust storm was headed my way and the sun was covered. But it really sparkles so beautifully in the sun!

Blue Above the Bay is a bright blue crelly/jelly packed with blue and white shimmer. This one has so much depth and is absolutely gorgeous. This one dries to a nice satin/matte finish that I really liked and is smooth to the touch on its own. It was opaque in just 2 coats and I'm showing 2 coats with topcoat below, except on my ring finger where I left it without topcoat so you can see it both ways.

Haleiwa Town is the first of two sparkle-icious holographic micro-glitter polishes in this collection. It's a beautiful rosy pink jelly and is packed with holo micro-glitter. If you have A Dragon is Not a Slave from Paint Box Polish, this is similar but, obviously, a different color. It is impossible to capture how insanely sparkly this polish is in photos! The formula was smooth and easy and I'm showing 2 coats and 1 coat of topcoat. It is not top coat hungry.

Waimea Waters is the cool green cousin to Haleiwa Town. It is packed with gold holo glitters and sparkles just as brilliantly. Two coats and one coat of top coat.
