Press Sample

Happy Friday, everyone! Maya Cosmetics is launching a brand new collection today and I have 3 of them to show you, as well as my review of the new Top Coat being launched!

Maya Cosmetics is also having a 25% off SALE this weekend! I will have the code at the end of the post!

Full review and swatches after the jump!

Today I have Cosmic, En Fuego and Glitter is the New Black to show you but first I want to tell you about the new Maya Cosmetics Top Coat!

I really like this top coat!  It is not a super thick, super fast-drying top coat like Poshe or Seche Vite but it does dry fairly quickly. I've been using it for about 2 weeks and I have not had any issues with it thickening in the bottle or shrinking my polish. It gives a nice high shine and feels very smooth to the touch after it's dry. I used it exclusively as my top coat for this post (except for the few photos without top coat which will be noted in the captions).

Cosmic

Cosmic is a dark grey base with heavy green shimmer (making the polish look more green they grey in most lighting) with a slight red shift and micro and small glitters in shades of teal, silver, pale gold and gunmetal alone with a bit of scattered holo. This one is so complex and pretty without being "too much"  - it's just perfect for Fall!

I used 2 coats of Cosmic and one coat of the Maya Cosmetics Top Coat for the photos.

En Fuego

En Fuego is a muted orange jelly with micro glitter and small glitter in shades of gold, orange and bronze. This is my favorite out of the 3 polishes I have for you today! I absolutely love it! It's so squishy and shiny. It's sparkly without being too in-your-face blingy and it's just the perfect color for Autumn.

I used 2 coats of En Fuego for the photos and used the  Maya Top Coat where top coat was used. There are some photos without top coat because, well if I'm being honest, I just forgot to put it on before I took my outside photos. LOL

Glitter is the New Black

Glitter is the New Black is a black base with  black, silver, purple holo, orange, pink, and silver holo glitter. This is a very chunky glitter and almost has the look of a sparkly textured polish without top coat (I did include a photo without top coat so you can see the natural finish). The sparkle if much more intense than my camera would pick up. With each move of your hand it shimmers like there are a hundred tiny gemstones on each nail.

The formula on this one was easy to work with. I used two coats as well as two coats of top coat for this one (though I would recommend a thicker, glitter-friendly top coat topped off with a "regular" top coat for shine and to help it dry faster).
