Good morning! I have a bright and cheery polish to start you day! 

Catrice Orange-Utan is a bright, rich orange creme. The application on this was great and the polish flowed onto my nails and spread like butter. The brush on this was great too - it is wide and flat and I needed no cleanup. I used 2 coats and no topcoat for the photos.

MANIc Monday Polka Dot Gradient ♥

Welcome back to MANIc Monday! I have missed a couple of weeks of MANIc Monday due to lack of time and forgetfulness but I'm back with a super cute polka dot gradient that I did based on a tutorial from Chalkboard Nails.

I am pretty happy with the way this one turned out! Sarah is so incredibly talented that I have no hope of recreating the majority of her nail art but this one was simple enough that I feel like I did a pretty good job! For my version I used a base of Catrice Orange-Utan (review coming soon) and for the dots I used Sinful Colors Feeling Great and Pistache.

Catrice Forget-Me-Not - Swatches and Review

A couple of weeks ago I showed you a gradient using Dandy Nails Like Disco Lemonade over Catrice Forget-Me-Not but I haven't shown you the Catrice on its own. Wait no more, I have it for you tonight.

Forget-Me-Not is a stunning royal purple with microglitters that appear to be purple, blue and maybe even pink. The finish is ALMOST metallic. Very easy application, wonderful formula. This is 2 coats with no top coat.

Dandy Nails is restocking tomorrow (August 1st) and to celebrate I have TWO Dandy Nails posts. One tonight and one in the morning! The one for tomorrow is my favorite but I love them both.

For this mani I used Like Disco Lemonade over Catrice Forget-Me-Not (I will have a post on that soon) which is a warm-toned deep purple foil. I applied it as a gradient on all fingers except for my ring finger, where I did a full nail accent.
