The Cresent City Collection is made up of 5 polishes dedicated to the City of New Orleans - Big Chief, Cookin' Creole, Let the Good Times Roll, Redemption and Treme. I have 3 of those to show you tonight. The Crescent City Collection is a limited edition collection (with the exception of Treme which has been added to the permanent line) so if you love these you need to snatch them up as soon as possible!

Up first is Let the Good Times Roll. This one is a glitter topper and it has a fantastic formula! This mix of green, purple, gold, holographic and even a few black glitters is a really nice combination. It really does remind me of Mardi Gras! I chose to layer this one over Butter London Sprog (which looks bluer in the photos than it actually is) to let all of the colors really pop. I used one thick coat with no dabbing and topped it off with one coat of Poshe.

Next we have Cookin' Creole which is a taupe/light brown jelly base with brown, pink, green and white glitters. BUT what I really love about this one is the pop of pink shimmer in the base! It is subtle enough that it doesn't overwhelm the glitter but the way it shines in the light is gorgeous. This one was one the sheer side (which is typical of jellies) so I used 4 coats in the photos. I had to do a tiny amount of "digging" for the glitters but it wasn't too problematic.

Lastly we have Big Chief which is a bright blue jelly base with hot pink, orange and yellow glitters. This one also has an awesome silver shimmer in the base. I liked this one much more than I thought I would! I expected Cookin' Creole to be my favorite of the collection but I think this one beat it ever so slightly. It's just a fun polish to wear. The formula was the same as Cookin' Creole and I also used 4 coats with one coat of Poshe.
